The Lighthouse of Broward

 With more than 125,000 people who are blind or visually impaired in Broward County alone, the services provided by the Lighthouse of Broward are vital to the community.

 Jerry Cohen, director of development, explains the wide range of training programs offered by the Lighthouse for everyone from babies to seniors.  He describes how the mission of the organization in everything they do is to help all of their clients learn to enjoy productive, independent lives.

The Errict Rhett Foundation

Football great and University of Florida All-American, Errict Rhett visited the Forum to talk about his dedication to helping disadvantaged youth through the Errict Rhett Foundation.

Jair Smith, one of the many young people Errict has mentored, joined him to talk about what a difference that support made in his life. Errict, a professional homebuilder, also talked about his latest new home raffle. For only $10, anyone can earn the chance to win a brand new custom home in Fort Lauderdale, two Cadillac Escalades or $120,000 in cash. The drawing will be held Thanksgiving weekend, 2011. The Ann Storck Center

The Ann Storck Center is a place where individuals with severe mental and physical challenges, from birth to adult, can receive the support and attention that brings out their abilities.
