Cara Zimmerman, MSW, Program Host
Cara was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. She moved to Chicago where she worked at the Drake Hotel as the Convention Manager and then consequently created her own corporate catering business called Cheeseboard Catering for 12 years. She and her husband Ken and their son, Ari moved to Florida eighteen years ago where they embarked on many different paths. Cara received her masters in social work in 2009 and has been in the non profit arena for the past fifteen years. Her nonprofit background is extensive with many years at JFS as the Kosher Food Pantry coordinator, Spirit of Giving Network as their program coordinator and Caregiving Youth Project as the home care specialist. Cara is an award winning seed bead jewelry designer where you can see some of her work at the Yaakov Heller Gallery in Boca Raton. She currently resides in Deerfield Beach with her husband Kenny who is the famous Good Humor Man!
Michael Farver, Communications Director
Ex-print media publisher & art/design guru turned passionate social activist, Michael is the founder of Erelichda Consulting, a firm committed to advocate, build brands, viral market, develop, manage, promote & scale multiple social network platforms & campaigns on behalf of clients.
He is personally involved in nonprofit advocacy at the national, state and local level. The former Chairman of the National Advisory Board of Share Our Strength, the nation’s leading anti-hunger, anti-poverty organization, he presently serves as the President of the Board of Directors of Florida Impact, the state’s senior legislative public policy advocacy organization. Michael is also a founding director and President of End Childhood Hunger, a South Florida non-profit that utilizes social media tools and campaigns to advocate for more access to federal food programs, education & nutrition info to help end child hunger in the United States.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with majors in both economics and marketing, as well as a juris doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. Michael has thirty years of experience in both for-profit and non-profit business development.

Duff Lindsey, Operations Director & Program Director
Operations Director and Program Director for Beasley Broadcasting Group, Boca Raton, Duff has a long and successful history in broadcasting, including Program Director credits for WQAM and WHQT in Miami, XHRM in San Diego and WJHM in Orlando. His radio accomplishments include: Program Director for the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, Florida Panthers and University of Miami sports broadcasts. Duff also served as Program Director for The Neil Rogers Show, Joe Rose, Jim Mandich, Hank Goldberg, etc. while at WQAM. He is a former Billboard magazine Program Director of the year and Beasley Group Program Director of the year as received the same awards for his work with WJHM. Radio is Duff’s lifelong occupation and obsession. He has 23+ years of service with Beasley Broadcasting.
