Representatives of Healthy Mothers, Health Babies of Palm Beach County were our featured guests on Forum for this week. Dr. Marsha Fishbane, board Chair and Founder of HMHB, Angelique Francois, Program Manager of HMHB and Rochelle Silver, a client of HMHB were interviewed. Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County provides access to prenatal care and education for uninsured and under-insured women and teens in Palm Beach County. In 2012, more than 3500 babies born in Palm Beach County were born with low birth weight as a result of little or no prenatal care. At particular risk are Black/African American babies.
