ASF exists because persons with autism spectrum disorder have unique capacities and gifts and we are fortunate to have them in our lives. We believe persons with autism spectrum disorders contribute in unique ways to their families and communities. ASF believes that the best advocacy occurs with education and respect and the presumption of competence of all persons.
The mission of the Autism Society of Florida (ASF) is to assure full participation and self-determination in every aspect of life for each individual. Therefore improving the lives of all affected by autism.

We had the pleasure of having Sue Diener, Executive Director of Spirit of Giving Network. The Spirit of Giving Network is a collaborative, nonprofit organization with a focus on children and families in South Palm Beach County. It is a forum where nonprofits and community supporters share information, resources and best practices. Currently, there are more than 60 nonprofit member organizations meeting on a monthly basis. The group’s objective is to streamline the delivery of services to the community by working collaboratively to solve issues and improve operations through internal and external partnerships.
We had the pleasure of having Alex Browning, Communiations Director and Adriana Farazola, Family Services Manager of Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. The Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, mission is to provide the resources, advocacy, leadership, coordination and oversight for early care and education from birth to school-age and to support access to school-age care to ensure children’s success in school.
We had the pleasure of having Keely McBee, Marketing & Events Manager of HandsOn Broward. HandsOn Broward inspires, equips and mobilizes people to effect positive change in Broward County. By leveraging the power of people and socially responsible businesses, they transform local communities through meaningful hands-on projects that make a difference.
We had the pleasure of having Chira Cassel, COO of Children’s Bereavement Center. The Children’s Bereavement Center provides free Peer Support Groups for children, young adults, and adult caregivers after the death of a loved one. Groups are open to anyone who has lost a parent, sibling, grandparent, relative, or friend as a result of illness, accident, suicide, or homicide. Losses can be recent or in years past.
