The Legal Aid Society works to provide high quality civil legal advice, representation and education to the disadvantaged of Palm Beach County so as to protect their personal safety, enhance their opportunities and living conditions and promote self-sufficiency. 211 Palm Beach County

logo2We had the pleasure of having Patrice Schroeder, community relations specialist at 211 Palm Beach County.  211 works to provide a team of specially trained staff to assist callers through its 211 HelpLine with crisis intervention, suicide prevention, information, assessment and referral to community services. They also collect and maintain information on community health and human services and makes this information available via its hotlines, helplines, printed directories, and on the web. Mental Health Association of PBC

PrintThis week on the Forum for Nonprofits we had Pamela Gionfriddo, CEO of the Mental Health Association of Palm Beach County. The Mental Health Association works with community partners to advocate for solutions that will improve the lives of people living with mental illness. MHA works with public policy leaders, service providers, researchers, advocates, consumers, and educators to providing the latest news and information about mental health and wellness.
