We had the pleasure of having Jennifer Smith of Silvie Bells.
“Our daughter Silvana (Silvie) was born with life-threatening complications and given a 10% chance of survival. While she was fighting for her life in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) I made a promise… “If Silvie survives, I will find a way to pay it forward.”
Silvie spent December and January in the NICU, the holidays we’re not merry or bright.
Happily she graduated the NICU on January 31, 2016!
To keep my promise to pay it forward if she survived, I created Silvie Bells.
We are a 501c3 NonProfit that gives families of sick and preemie NICU babies a bit of cheer during the holidays by gifting them the things that helped us during our own NICU journey. ”
They can be reached by phone at 561•212•5695 or on the Silvie Bells website here. Listen to the program here:
